Many people join a Mixed-Martial Arts club and train their hearts out to become the next big thing. They also often don't provide any focus on certain areas of health that will take them in that direction. Your training plan should include all 3 of the following to make your MMA career last.
Sleep.
Right off the bat we are talking about going to bed at night. To have the energy to train during the day you need to get to bed at night and sleep through the night.
Easily your body's hormones that help with energy can be depleted when not getting a good night sleep. Your body will not be at its best to train properly to win your fight.
Diet.
McDonalds, Burger King and depending on what you eat at Subway, all need to be eliminated from your daily eating schedule.
Focus on taking in more greens, cutting back on the saturated and trans-fatty foods to once again have the most energy possible for a great training day.
Train.
When we say train, we're talking about training the actual martial arts, strength, and cardio. There is no room in a fight to leave any of these out.
So of ten the big muscle man steps into the club, has no cardio training, and gets embarrassed and doesn't come back. Before you even start training MMA make sure you cardio can stand the initial MMA club's workout.
